Half the result comes before the water: dry vacuuming, removing hair and crumbs from the seams and checking the label to see if the fabric accepts water. A wet/dry vacuum then doubles for extraction.

The Lava Interni B Aroma Evoenzymes technical sheet gives 1:25 to 1:50 as a spray or in the machine tank: 1:25 for heavy soiling, 1:50 for maintenance. Start with the weaker dilution and test on a hidden spot.
Usually a few hours, depending on the fabric, foam, humidity and ventilation. A final vacuum-only pass and cushions upright with air moving shorten drying the most.
From the label: “W” accepts water cleaning, “WS” water or solvent, “S” solvents only and “X” vacuum only. Without a label, test on a hidden spot with a damp white cloth and check the colour does not transfer.
No. Leather is cleaned with its own cleaner (X2 Fabrics & Leather works on leather and fabric), a soft brush and microfibre, without soaking. The SC4 Tex Coat protector is also suitable for leather.
With enzymatic products, which break down the source of the smell: enzymatic stain remover (Tex), extraction with the enzymatic upholstery cleaner and an enzymatic neutraliser (Deotex or N0 Odors) at the end. Never use ammonia: it draws the animal back to the same spot. The stain guide on this page has the steps.
Always after cleaning, on completely dry fabric, in two cross coats. X-TEX keeps its effect after several wash cycles; on everyday sofas, renew the protection at every deep clean.
It works on persistent odours, but ozone irritates the airways: use it only in empty spaces, with no people, pets or plants, for the timer period, and air the space well before using it again.
