Ozone works on odours but irritates the airways. Use it only in empty spaces, with no people, pets or plants, for the timer period, and air the room well before using it again.
With enzymatic products, which break down the source of the smell: enzymatic stain remover on the stain, low-moisture extraction and an enzymatic odour eliminator at the end. Fragrance alone only masks it.
With little water and plenty of vacuum-only passes it usually dries the same day. Ventilation and standing the mattress upright shorten the time.
